Summer Camp Info
UPDATE: Iqra Academy will not be hosting the summer camp at Iqra this year; however Br. Anwar Arafat is planning to lead a summer camp at Masjid al-Noor, (740 S. 700 East, Salt Lake City, UT; 801-364-7822). Our latest information says the summer camp will be held from 9 am to 3 pm, starting Monday, June 21; fees are $60 per week, per child. To enroll your child, or get additional information, please contact Br. Anwar at 801-836-0443.

Health Fair
The free Health Fair, held at Iqra on Saturday, February 20th, was an important
“first” for the school and the community. The event brought together a variety
of people, including medical professionals, teachers, parents, current and former
students, other community volunteers and visitors. Initiated by the current school
board, the fair became a shared accomplishment of everyone who took part.

After-school Arabic Language Tutoring
After-school Arabic language tutoring are on Tuesdays through Thursdays, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, starting January 20th.

Don't miss our Family Literacy Night on January 6th! Time: 7-8 P.M. All Iqra Academy families are encouraged to attend. The Book Fair is a great opportunity to help support Iqra Academy, and also to add some books to your child's library.

When: 12:00 Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Please participate! Nine board members are to be elected, each to start a term of three years.
The qualifications for Board members were posted at Masjid Khadijah and Masjid al-Noor;
the nomination deadline was 5:00 p.m., Nov 8, 2009.
